Social Distortion back from the dead

Social Distortion played at the rave in chicago this weekend and did not disappoint. I went back to Chicago just to see them because they've always been a huge part of my music life. My sister introduced me to them at a little age and i was even able to meet Mike Ness, the lead singer and guitarist. This was still back when he was a heavy user and didn't really look to good at all. Saturday night was a different story. He looked healthy, energetic, and passionate about the music once again and the crowd could sense it. They played a two hour set and stayed alive the whole time. It was definitely one of the top five concerts I've been too and i recommend going if you are into any type of rock music.

ITS ALMOST HERE!

What looks to be the game of the year is almost upon us. There is so much going in in in halo 4 that its hard to be excited about just one thing. With bungie out of the driver seat for this installment, people are going to be looking at 343 to live up to the halo name and put out a title that will you keep you playing for days on end. Halo 3, in my opinion was the last game that really blew me away in this series and it looks like halo 4 could even top that which would be one hell of an accomplishment. Halo is also coming out at the best possible time with call of duty black ops two looking extremely weak and no new battlefield real ease this year, it looks to be a big holiday season for halo and its developers. Halo real eases on november eleventh and i will definitely be there at midnight to jump in on some of that action.

Probably one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time. The fact that this whole thing looks like a dance number just makes fifty times better. And its not the communist side so there not going to try and kill us either so that makes it cooler too.

Class is going really well for me. I actually like discussing things and not just sitting there and being lectured all day like most of my other classes. Its nice to be able to express yourself by saying what you think about stuff. I hope the rest of this year gets even better but i know i gotta work harder than i have before if i want to succeed. Studying and reading have never been something i really did at all but i know in college if i don't do either of those i might as well not be here so i really have to try and keep up and stay on task and not let things that don't really matter distract me. If i can just study everyday i think I'm going to be just fine in this class and every other class in fact.
